12 hours and counting...
Thursday, March 7, 2002, 09:28 p.m.

since I've been at work today. @.@;;

d00d, guys, I cannot convey how much I'm waiting for Saturday to be over. Then, the major campaign's that's been eating my life for the past couple months'n making me work crazy-long hours (and Saturdays) will be over. I cannot wait.

Of course, after Saturday, it'll all start up again and we'll be back in campaign mode. @.@;;

.... o.O .... O.o ....
Monday, March 4, 2002, 10:05 p.m.

d00d. What the hell just happened on Angel? I'm serious here, what the fuck was that? O.O

i'm your turbo lover...love you like no other!
Sunday, March 3, 2002, 11:10 p.m.

Watching episode 11 of Initial D.

*grins* d00d, I got such the stalker vibes off Wataru when he called Takumi for the race. Ooh, and those pants he's wearing when he shows up at the Esso station for his race with Takumi. They have zippers at the knees. Don't ask me why those do it for me, but they do. *___*

And I just noticed somethings new. When Wataru calls Takumi, you get a pan-shot of his room. He's got an entire corner covered with what looks like engine parts and tools. The first thought that ran through my head was, 'wow, he must really like working on engines...'

The second thing I noticed was that there was a box of books. That got me thinking. Is he moving? Did he just move? He said something about both he and Kazumi living in Gunma for a while. So where, exactly, is he now? Hmmm... I don't know if Shigeno ever clears that up later on in the series, but for now, that opens up a lot of possibilities.... XD

I'm starting to get a soft spot for Itsuki. Yeah, he's still the fish-lipped, overly-excitable best friend of Takumi, but Shigeno did a really good job and developing him as a character. Itsuki really is a very good guy. He cares about his friend, he even kept Takumi company when Ryosuke and Kyouichi were having their race. And you know that Itsuki really wanted to see that race. But he stayed with Takumi, instead, 'cause he wanted to be there for his friend.

Then with Kazumi. Yeah, he likes her, but he also really cares about how she feels and what she wants. He's also genuinely happy to have Kazumi teaching him the basics of drifting that night they spend on the mountain. He's such a sweet guy. ^_____^

I've always had a soft spot for Iketani, but I got reminded why. ^___^ He's a really sweet guy, too. There was no hesitation when Takumi asked for his help in installing the tachometer. He even acts kinda like a big brother by talking with Takumi and offering his support. Then, the next morning when he can't find a high rev tachometer, he's truly concerned that he'll let Takumi down. I think Iketani would make a great big brother. And a great dad, later on in life. *shrugs* Don't know why, really, but that's the feeling I get from him.

Have I mentioned yet how much I dig Wataru? There's just something really H-inducing about him. *__* And that ass-wiggle of his. >D I know that it's his car's ass, and not his, wriggling all along the road, but I still find it hella amusing. Mostly because the fact that he even came up with an ass-wiggling technique is intriguing. ^_~

Purely random question. Why did Ryousuke, Keisuke, and Kenta drive all three of their cars up? You know Keisuke and Ryousuke could have ridden together. Then I started thinking about it more and imagined this conversation:

Kenta: *calls Keisuke* Keisuke-san! I can drive later on if you'd like. You could ride with me!

Keisuke: Uh.... Well.... Actually, I think we need to take all three cars.

Kenta: Why?

Keisuke: Uh...*thinks fast* see, we'll all be coming from different places. So it'd be best if we all just drive ourselves.

Kenta: ... Well... I guess... *doesn't sound convinced*

Keisuke: Trust me on this, it'd just be way too much trouble. Really. *sweatdrops*

Kenta: Well, okay. See you tonight, Keisuke-san. *hands up*

Keisuke: *rushes to his brother's room* Aniki! You need to do me a favor!

Ryousuke: *closes his laptop and looks up, raising an eyebrow* What sort of favor?

Keisuke: *fidgets* Well... *starts babbling* Kenta called asking if I wanted to ride with him to Fujiwara and Akiyama's race tonight but I really didn't want to so I told him that we were all going to take our cars so I really need for you to drive tomorrow even though I said I'd drive before but you gotta help me out aniki. *stops and takes a deep breath*

Ryousuke: *other eyebrow rises* Do you have any idea how much gas we'd waste? Do you have enough of your allowance left to cover a full tank of gas, maybe more?

Keisuke: *sweatdrops* I'm not really sure...but you'd lend me some money, right aniki? *lower lip starts to tremble* I'm desperate, aniki. I don't wanna be left alone in a car with Kenta.

Ryousuke: *hides a grin* Alright, Keisuke.

Keisuke: *whoops and runs out* Thanks, aniki!

*sweatdrops* Considering how long that got, I guess I shoulda put it on my ficbunnies blog and replaced that god-awful crap I put there yesterday. <.<;; I was rereading it today and realized it wasn't half as funny as I'd thought it was yesterday. Teaches me to try to be amusing when I'm dead-tired and brain-dead. =_=;;;

*snerks* What is our keipi doing with his hair? It totally looks like either a large animal came up and licked that patch of hair up, or is a result of that one scene in There's Something About Mary. Keisuke-honey, what are you using in your hair? ^O^

KILL! KILL! KILL!!!!!!!
Sunday, March 3, 2002, 04:08 p.m.

It just took me almost four fucking hours to get to work. Why? Because of the goddamn LA Marathon. >.<

Don't get me wrong. I think the LA Marathon is a great event and I admire anyone who participates. But. I must say. That I hate what it does to traffic with a passion. I am so angered right now that I can't see straight.

Must find something to kill.... *growls and stomps off*

I'm a horsie! I like this result 'cause the knights are my favorite chess pieces. ^__^v

wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
Friday, March 1, 2002, 12:09 a.m.

I'm sitting here nearly shitting my pants 'cause I'm so happy and excited. ^________________________^

I got my new laptop today! It's a Dell Inspiron 700. I got a Pentium III 700/550 mHz processor (depending on whether I'm running on battery or not ['cause on battery, it'll use the lower processor speed to save energy ^O^]). 128 mB of RAM, and 20 Gb of harddrive. *_______*

My God, the possibilities. I installed Photoshop just as soon as I got my new baby into my greedy li'l paws. XD inky got to see me be all giddy'n boinging all over the place in my joy and excitement. ^O^

I went over to my friends' house 'cause they wanted to see my new toy. *LOL* I spent several hours with them just fiddling around with my laptop and his. He's got a Dell, too and he has a docking station. So we tried to see if our parts were compatible and if my laptop would fit on his docking station.

<.<;;; That...so could be taken some other way.... ^^;;;

Anyways, I got home just minutes ago and installed aohell. d00d, my new bad-ass laptop installed that shit in less than five minutes. When I installed it on my poor older baby, it took me almost an hour. ^o^ Even now that I'm online, it seems to be handling the shit aohell does better. XD

Not that I'm gonna be needing aohell for much longer. Oh, no. Now that I have Bad-Ass, I'm getting cablemodem connected by next week. >D

Some little gripes. I need to get used to the keyboard. I've had my poor li'l laptop for over four years by this point. I'm used to it. I know its little quirks. Now I gotta get used to how this keyboard works and to the new key configuration. Like the arrow keys are in a different place. As are the page up, page down, home, end, insert, and delete keys. It's become second nature to me to move my hand and fingers to those keys so I'm gonna have to train myself to the new ones. =_=

Other than that, though. *grins* I'm way happy with it. XD

You know what's really great though? Now, I can keep Bad-Ass out and let my roomie use it, and I can take my poor li'l laptop into my room and write on it without worrying if my roomies are gonna see. ^O^;;;;

First things I'm buying for Bad-Ass are a scanner and a wacom tablet. *_____*

Next month, we'll talk about a docking station of my own. ^_~

what's your love story
Wednesday, February 27, 2002, 06:33 p.m.

Cindy, Love vs. Honor is your primary love story!

Love vs. Honor is the most dramatic love story of all — defined by an innate tug of war between what you want to do and what you should do. There is something coming between you and love. Perhaps it's a religious conviction, a previous commitment, family, patriotic duty, or deep belief that good things only come at a terrible price.

If you're looking for examples you can start back with the Greek myths where heroes were often forced to give up love and the comforts of home for battles in far-off lands. In Charles Dickens' "Great Expectations," Estella chooses to obey her benefactress and break Pip's heart, even though she deeply regrets doing so. Political obligations and previous relationships tear Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman apart in the unforgettable film, "Casablanca."

*snerks* Considering that I bs'd my way through most of the questions ('cause silly cyssy has never been in a serious relationship in her life :P), it's still pretty accurate of what I think will happen. ^^;;

hey, look! it's squirtle!
Tuesday, February 26, 2002, 09:58 p.m.

*grins* I went to the post office today. I was parking just as a bus let off all these kids. They walked by as I was doing my parralel parking thing and I heard some of their comments.

"Hey, look! It's Squirtle!"
"There's Charmander, too!"
"And what's that one?" (my Kenshin decal)
"Cool."

XD

Random comment, here. But, damn, Buffy'n Angel have gotten frickin' heavy lately. o.O;; One of my roomies and I were watching Buffy tonight and we were both shocked by how frickin' depressing it was. Luckily for my sanity, next week's episode looks to be nothing but fluff. Anya'n Xander getting married. XD

Tuesday, February 26, 2002, 10:49 a.m.

Had the funkiest dream I had in a while. O.o;;

Somehow, I was reporting on the Grammy's. Only, it was really late at night. So I get to the house where all us reporters are staying and the house is somewhere out in bum-fuck-Egypt. Lots of tall, withered grass, no other houses for miles.

Apparently, it's like some sort of reporters death-match or something because we can all kick ass in one way or another. *grins* I fought like Hwang - with a sword and lots of cool-looking kicks. [Aside: What's sad is that I really used to be able to do those kicks back in college. I was so in shape back then. T_T There was this one quarter where I was doing Tae Kwon Do three times a week, Kung-fu twice a week, and Korean masked dance twice a week.... @.@;;]

So anyways, we're all at the house and getting to know each other. This seemed like an odd ability at the time, but there was this one farm girl, with her hair in these two blonde pigtails, that could kick any dog in the ribs. o.O;

I'm hanging out at the pool 'cause I'm searching for Kyou's bandana (did I mention there was a treasure hunt going on?), when this...this...nasty-looking thing jumps out and plops down next to me. I stare at it and it looks kind of familiar. I stare at it some more and am about to say something when inky pops out in a cloud of fairy dust, says, "That's a gremlin. Remember, don't get it wet," and pops back out in another cloud of sparkly dust.

Of course, at that exact moment, someone jumps into the pool and splashes the thing. =_= Isn't it always that way? So it starts attacking people and we all run for the house, only now, our way is blocked by a strong glass door. Just to let you guys know, that door wasn't there before. so the thing starts advancing towards us, all rabid and growling and morphs into a huge dog.

We all realize that we can fight and get down into our stances while a whole forrest of guns come clicking out. *LOL* At this point, I'm grinning like a demented fool. Then, someone starts laughing and that farm girl who can kick any dog comes out to the front. She kicks the dog-thing's ass and we all go about our business. Now where is that bandana....

....

Don't ask, 'cause I just don't know. o.O;;;;

d00d, mebbe it's just 'cause I'm obsessed, but damn Kyou looks good. ^O^ *sweats* Much better than how he looks in the flashbacks. ^^;; I've said it before, but that conversation that he has with Ryou is so just bursting with subtext. XD

adrenaline rushes
Wednesday, February 20, 2002, 09:18 p.m.

There are good adrenaline rushes, and bad adrenaline rushes. A good adrenaline rush is when you're ona roller coaster and screaming your head off as the world contracts into a very focused point right in your field of vision.

A bad adrenaline rush is when you're driving home from work and you see a cop coming up behind you with his lights on and sirens wailing. Add to that the fact that you just got rid of a ticket through traffic school and that you're between insurance. At that point, the only thought rushing through your head is, "Aw, fuck me!" >.<

Bad bad bad adrenaline rush.

Luckily, the cop passed right on by. Had a more important place to go. ^^;;

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MIZZY!!

the biggest cause of collisions is....
Saturday, February 16, 2002, 06:47 p.m.

=_= I just finished my st00pid online traffic school. It's supposed to be an eight hour course, but I zoomed through it in 2 1/2 hours. Grrr... For some reason, having to learn the different California driving laws makes me wanna go and break some of'm.

Ooh, like the red Honda Civic I saw yesterday. I was driving home from dropping my friends off at their apartment and was driving down La Brea. I'm just sitting there and waiting for the car in front of me to start moving when I hear this hella loud roar to my left. I look over and all I can see is a red streak. The only reason I know it was a Civic is 'cause I caught sight of the back-end of it as the car kept on roaring down the opposite way. ^O^

*sighs* Now, I gotta get off my ass and get my car insurance. =_=

Ooh, but now I can go home and play more FFX.... XD

of taking the nasty traditional Korean medicine. >.<

For those of you who've never had to take traditional asian medicine, I don't think I can convey the true, nasty bitterness that it is. Ugh. *shudders* After each gulp I have to repress the urge to throw up.

So why do I take it? Shit, by this time, I've been sick so often and for so long, that I'm willing to try it. Not to mention the fact that it's pretty pricey stuff and I'm not gonna waste $150. 'Sides, thousands of years of the practice can't be entirely wrong, right? Just why can't they find a way to make it more palatable? ;_;

Which Colossal Death Robot Are You?

Vast, red and ready to turn into a lorry at the slightest provocation, you are a robot to be reckoned with. Although sickeningly noble, you just can't resist a good interplanetary war, especially when Orson Welles is involved. You have friends who can shoot tapes from their chests. Tapes that turn into panthers. And other friends who are dinosaurs. Dinosaurs who jump out of planes. Will you have my children?

better keep an eye out
Thursday, February 14, 2002, 04:58 p.m.

I woulda blogged this last night, but stupid aohell decided it didn't want me on for longer'n ten seconds. >.<

I watched the X-Men movie again last night. *____* Have I mentioned how hot the guy who plays Wolverine is? Either way, he's frickin' drool-worthy. I especially love the first shot you see of him, leaning into his corner of the cage, shirtless, jeans hanging off his lean, cocked hips.... *__* *wipes away drool*

The thing between him'n Cyclops is just too hilarious and fun, too. XD I love the way that they just pick at each other.

Wolverine: *sniffs* We're not alone.
Cyclops: Where?
Wolverine: Better keep an eye out.
Cyclops: Logan!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

And then, this one--

Wolverine: Hey, it's me!
Cyclops: Prove it.
Wolverine: You're a dick.
Cyclops: *shrugs* Okay.

Mweeheeheeheehee!

Also gotta love the number of ass shots y'get of both Wolverine'n Cyclops. >D~~~~

One of these days, I'm gonna watch the movie and take a count of how many times Wolvie'n Cyke get their ass framed lovingly by the camera. XD

I picked up my medicine from the traditional Korean clinic my parents forced me to go to this week. Had my first dosage today at 4. >.< Ugh. The entire time I was drinking it, I thought I was gonna throw up. Nasty stuff. But, if it helps keep me healthy, I'm all for it. :P

Inky, the fic-blog I read was your latest one. The one with Take slamming Kei against the wall. *__* Have I mentioned how incredibly hot I think that particular scenario is? Definitely one of my kinks. Right along with bent over the hood of a car. H__H I think it's the entire dominance struggle. Which is probably also why I like yaoi. Especially yaoi dealing with two very alpha males. *__*

Okay, I think that's enough of that.... ^^;

Though...most of'm seem to be for mashimaro and The Mummy. o.O; The disturbed bunny is definitely winning on the search hits, though. *shrugs*

under the influence of thera-flu
Wednesday, February 13, 2002, 02:35 p.m.

I think I can blame most of this on TheraFlu. That and the winter olympics which I've been watching obsessively. <.<;;

Anyways, I had a series of weird dreams last night. The first one started off kinda normally. Kinda. For some reason, don't ask me why, snow rally racing was now a winter olympic sport. So, of course, Kyo'n Seiji were in it. Then, Ryou and Kei got into the action and there were two LanEvos and two RX-7s just tearing up the tracks. Snow was flying everywhere. So far, not too strange, right?

Then, it morphs and somehow, I'm dreaming Moulin Rouge with the Ini-D boys. o.O; What scares me isn't that the Ini-D boys were doing Moulin Rouge, but more of which boy was doing which part.

Keisuke was Satine.
Ryousuke was Zidler (which just trips me out like you wouldn't believe).
Kenta was the dwarf (the one played by John Leguizamo).
Takumi was Christian (Obi MacGregor's part).
Kyoichi was the Duke (which makes no sense at all if you think about it, but the part I was dreaming was the "Like a Virgin" number, and damn if Ryou'n Kyo didn't make that sizzle. ^O^)

Then, it's back to the winter olympics where the boys are all on curling teams. Only, instead of throwing the stones, they're trying to throw their cars. *giggles* It got pretty hilarious, actually. I'm not going to forget the image of Takeshi pushing his GT-R with all his might and then Shingo with this big-ass broom sweeping the ice in front of the GT-R anytime soon. The other teams were all waiting for their turns, but I think my mind decided that it had enough of the weirdness and woke me up.

^^;;

Ooh...inky, I like the latest fic blog. A lot. ^O^
